Links
I want to share some sites that have influenced my photography, and other aspects of life in general. I'm not going to completely restrict these links to photography, as my influences are vast, and include many different sources.
dpreview.comThis is a great site for camera and gear review. They go above and beyond putting equipment through the paces. As well you can become a member (paid or free) and enter photo challenges, and have your shots critiqued and judged by other members.
1x.comThis site is dedicated to more of the art and aesthetics of photography, and don't get into the gear, or other facets of learning photography. Some amazing shots in here for sure.
Chris Gamel
Chris is a wildlife biologist, amazing photographer, and I would say adventurer. I worked with Chris at an upstart college that went the way of the Dodo. We had some fun while we were there though, and I learned some great photography tips while working with him.

Photo.netAnother good photo site showcasing members photos as well as reviews of camera equipment and more.
Stuart ThorpeI work with Stu currently and have had some pretty in depth discussions on photography with him. He is very knowledgeable about the technical side of photography, as well has captured some awesome shots. He's my go to when I'm just not sure about something in the photography world (let alone a dozen other topics).
Bill MilnerBill is a successful photographer working in the Salt Lake City area. He ranges from technical studio work, to portraiture, and does a great job at it all. I worked with Bill as well at that upstart college I mentioned above. Again, I was always gleening invaluable tidbits of knowledge from him while we worked together.
